It Started in My Grandfather’s Workshop
As a child, I was always curious about technology and how things worked. I spent countless hours in my grandfather’s workshop, surrounded by tools, machinery and projects waiting to be explored.
The more I learned, the more complex the challenges became. When I eventually discovered automation, it opened an entirely new world—bringing together technology, engineering and problem-solving in a way that could genuinely improve how people live and work.
That same curiosity continues to drive DY Techniek today: understanding how things work, exploring what is possible and creating intelligent solutions that make everyday life simpler.
Our History
From Electrical Installations to Intelligent Living
DY Techniek began around ten years ago as an electrical company, initially focusing on residential installations before expanding into industrial systems and automation for businesses.
Over time, I realised that the most rewarding part of the work was not simply the technology—it was working with people and seeing how the right solution could improve their everyday lives.
That realisation shaped the direction of DY Techniek. Today, we focus on intelligent automation that makes homes and buildings more comfortable, efficient and effortless to use.
